Freezer Lambs

If you would like to buy some great locally produced and processed lamb meat, we will have some lambs available throughout the year. The following is a list of cuts if you are interested: We sell the animals by the head, with the price being between $100 and $150, depending on the animalīs live weight.

The buyer will be responsible for the cost of the processing and packaging services, which typically runs around $75. We will coordinate this process if necessary, and we typically use Byron Center Meats in Byron Center, or Earlīs Meats in Holland. They vacuum seal each package to help eliminate freezer burn problems, which greatly increases the meat\\\'s shelf-life.

The average lamb will have a hanging weight of about 50 to 60 pounds of meat and bone, some of which will be lost due to shrinking and the removal of fat and bone.

A full lamb can be purchased, which will typically cost around $200 if processing is needed. It may be possible to arrange the purchase of a half of lamb if we have another person interested in doing the same.

Contact us for availability and to confirm prices. It is best to reserve a lamb, so we can be sure to meet your needs.
